About Me

Hi, I'm Hana and I'm currently in my fourth and final year of a Bachelor of Science/Education (secondary). My major is Biology, however I will be qualified to teach Science for years 7-10, Earth & Environmental Science and Chemistry.

Having done EDST6762 last year, I'm fairly comfortable with using Mahara to present my work :)

The process of becoming a mentor for first year students in the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences involved: an interview, two training days for strategic planning, and attendance at a counselling training session. As of O-week semester 1 I meet up with my group of 11 first year students once a week and inform and help them with the various aspects of university life.
